Owner's description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2020 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH, AN AUDIBLE SOUND WAS HEARD AS THE BRAKES MALFUNCTION MESSAGE WAS DISPLAYED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE BRAKES ACTIVATED INDEPENDENTLY CAUSING THE VEHICLE DECELERATE. THE CONTACT PULLED OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROADWAY AND WAITED FOR SEVERAL MINUTES BEFORE DRIVING TO THE RESIDENCE. THE VEHICLE WAS THEN TAKEN TO JOHN ELWAY'S CLAREMONT CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM (620 AUTO CENTER DR, CLAREMONT, CA 91711, (909) 962-8100) TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE TECHNICIAN WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 7,000.
