Owner's description
The contact owns a 2024 BMW X5. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle made abnormal sounds while accelerating. Additionally, while the transmission was in reverse (R), the brake pedal was depressed, but the vehicle failed to stop immediately. An unknown warning light was illuminated. The contact became aware of NHTSA Campaign Number: [XXX] (Electronic Stability Control, Service Brakes) associated with the VIN from Cars.com. The dealer was made aware of the failure but confirmed that parts were not yet available. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired.
