The contact owns a 2020 BMW X5. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the check engine warning light illuminated on the instrument panel. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who diagnosed a failure with the active grill shutter. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but provided no assistance.
