Owner's description
The contact owns a 2023 Jeep Wrangler. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V720000(Electrical System); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the vehicle was experiencing difficulty recharging. The contact stated that after plugging the vehicle into a standard outlet in the garage, the circuit breaker would trip, and the vehicle failed to charge. The contact was no longer attempting to charge the vehicle for fear of starting a fire. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 18,000.
