Owner's description
The contact owns a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact had received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V576000 (Electrical System); the vehicle was taken to a local dealer where the recall repair was performed. The contact stated that upon starting the vehicle, the vehicle shutoff upon exiting the driveway and the battery message was displayed on the instrument panel. Due to the failure, the vehicle was towed back to the dealer however, the vehicle failed to duplicate the failure. The contact was informed that since the failure could not be duplicated, the vehicle was safe to drive. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The contact expressed concerns about the safety of the vehicle despite the dealer stating that the vehicle was safe to drive. The failure mileage was approximately 19,000.
