EAGLE EYES IS RECALLING 11,534 HEADLAMP ASSEMBLIES, P/NOS. CS090-B001L AND CS090-B001R, SOLD FOR USE AS REPLACEMENT EQUIPMENT FOR THE ABOVE LISTED PASSENGER VEHICLES. THESE HEADLAMPS FAIL TO CONFORM TO THE LOWER BEAM PHOTOMETRY REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 108, "LAMPS, REFLECTIVE DEVICES, AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT."
Consequence: DECREASED LIGHTING VISIBILITY MAY RESULT IN A VEHICLE CRASH.
Remedy: EAGLE EYES WILL NOTIFY OWNERS AND OFFER REPLACEMENT HEADLAMPS FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON SEPTEMBER 30, 2008. OWNERS MAY CONTACT EAGLE EYES AT 1-800-568-1098.

CERTAIN CURVED TEMPERED REPLACEMENT GLASS MANUFACTURED BY HANGZHOU SAFETY GLASS LTD AND SUPPLIED TO SAFELITE BY AUTO TEMP INC., IDENTIFIED AS DOT-430, AND SOLD FOR USE ON CERTAIN DOMESTIC AND FOREIGN VEHICLES MAY NOT BREAK INTO SMALL PIECES AS EXPECTED OF TEMPERED GLASS AND FAILS TO CONFORM TO FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 205, "GLAZING MATERIALS."
Consequence: IN THE EVENT OF A VEHICLE CRASH, THE OCCUPANT(S) MAY BE SERIOUSLY INJURED BY SHATTERED GLASS.
Remedy: SAFELITE WILL NOTIFY ITS RETAIL CUSTOMERS AND REPLACE THE GLASS FREE OF CHARGE. RETAIL CUSTOMERS CAN CONTACT SAFELITE TOLL FREE AT 1-888-843-2906. THE GAS TANK HAS BEEN REPLACED TWICE DUE TO CRACKS AT THE FUEL PUMP. GAS CAP LIGHT AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COME ON. HAD IT REPLACED A WEEK AGO AND IT HAS COME ON AGAIN AFTER PAYING $1,800.00. WHEN ORDERED FROM THE DEALERSHIP THEY SHIPPED IT OUT CRACKED AND THE MECHANICS HAD TO HUNT DOWN ANOTHER. WE HAVE BEEN DRIVING THIS VEHICLE NOT KNOWING THIS WAS A KNOWN ISSUE.. I BOUGHT A 2007 DODGE CARAVAN, THE DRIVERS SIDE WINDOW SWITCH SEEMS TO BE BURNING OUT NOT ALLOWING ME TO ROLL THE WINDOW DOWN ON THE ELECTRIC SWITCH AND WHEN IT DOES, HAS A HARD TIME TRYING TO GO BACK UP. THEN MY DRIVERS SIDE PASSENGER VAN DOOR HAS A BUTTON ON TOP IN THE FRONT THAT YOU CAN HIT IT AND ITS SUPPOSE TO OPEN THAT SIDE OF THE VAN DOOR, THE VAN DOOR ALSO DOESN'T OPEN FROM THE INSIDE IT HAS TO BE OPENED ON THE OUTSIDE POSING A DANGEROUS ISSUE. BUT THE OTHER SWITCH OPENS THE PASSENGER SIDE VAN DOOR FINE. MY 3RD ROW SEATS DON'T WANT TO STAY UP , THEY WANT TO LAY DOWN POSING SAFETY HAZARDS. MY BEARINGS OR SOMETHING SOUND BAD, AND MY PASSENGER SIDE DOOR HAS TO BE OPENED ON THE INSIDE AND WO'NT OPEN ON THE OUTSIDE.
AFTER FILLING UP MY GAS TANK I DROVE AWAY FROM THE FUEL PLACE, AND I WAS AT A GREEN LIGHT MAKING A LEFT TURN AND DURING THE LEFT TURN MY VAN STALLED!! ANOTHER TIME AFTER THIS, DIRECTLY AFTER FILLING UP GAS I WAS IDLING AT A RED LIGHT NOT FAR FROM WHERE I FUELED UP, WHEN MY VAN SURGED FORWARD! THIS IS APPARENTLY AN "EXTENDED WARRANTY" UP TO THE 2005 DODGE CARAVAN FOR A FAULTY VAPOUR/LIQUID SEPARATOR VALVE THAT IS BUILT INTO THE GAS TANK. I CONTACTED DODGE AND THEY SAID THAT BECAUSE MY VAN WAS A 2007 NOT A 2005 THAT THEY COULDN'T RECALL IT. THIS IS SO EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AND UNBELIEVABLE THAT THEY WON'T EXTEND THIS WARRANTY.HAD SOMEONE BEEN COMING WHEN I WAS TURNING LEFT AND MY VAN STALLED I WOULD'VE BEEN T-BONED. ALL OF THIS OCCURRED ON A CITY STREET.

CURT MFG IS RECALLING CERTAIN CLASS 3 RECEIVER HITCHES, P/N 13347, SOLD AS AFTERMARKET EQUIPMENT FOR USE ON 1997-2007 CHRYSLER TOWN AND COUNTRY VANS, 1996-2007 DODGE CARAVANS, AND 1996-2004 PLYMOUTH VOYAGER VANS. WHEN THE HITCH IS LOADED TO THE MAXIMUM RATING, THE HITCH MAY FRACTURE OR BREAK AT THE BEND LOCATION WHERE THE MAIN BODY OF THE HITCH MEETS THE HITCH MUFFLER STRAP.
Consequence: IF THE AREA IN QUESTION FRACTURES OR BREAKS, THIS COULD CAUSE AN UNSTABLE DRIVING CONDITION, POSSIBLY RESULTING IN A CRASH.

THESE HEADLAMPS FAIL TO CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 108, LAMPS, REFLECTIVE DEVICES, AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT.

UNKNOWN. AFTER REFUELING, IF YOU FILL UP THE TANK ALL THE WAY THE CAR WLL COMPLETELY LOSE POWER ONCE YOU START DRIVING. THIS MAY HAPPEN IMMEDIATELY OR AFTER YOU HAVE BEEN DRIVING FOR A FEW MINUTES. YOU WILL LOSE ALL POWER STEERING AND POWER BRAKES, MAKING IT DIFFICULT TO CONTROL THE VEHICLE. IF YOU HAVE ANY SPEED AT ALL, IT IS PRETTY IMPOSSIBLE TO SLOW DOWN. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 DODGE CARAVAN. WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH, THERE WAS A STRONG EXHAUST ODOR AND THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS COASTED TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND FAILED TO RESTART. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER (PUTMAN CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE, 3 CALIFORNIA DR., BURLINGAME, CA 94010) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. AFTER THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, THE CONTACT WOULD BECOME SLEEPY WHILE DRIVING. THE CONTACT BELIEVED THIS WAS DUE TO CARBON MONOXIDE ENTERING THE VEHICLE. SHE ALSO STATED THAT THE FLOORBOARD WAS VERY HOT TO THE TOUCH. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING OR REPAIRS. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 128,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.

THE CONTACT PULLED OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, TURNED OFF THE VEHICLE, AND COULD NOT RESTART THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE CONTACT'S RESIDENCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AT 800-992-1997 AND STATED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN A RECALL. A CASE NUMBER WAS NOT PROVIDED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 129,464.
LOSS OF HEADLIGHT ILLUMINATION NHTSA PRELIMINARY EVALUATION #PE10022 LOW BEAMS VERY DIM, HIGH BEAMS ONLY WORK WHEN TURN INDICATOR IS HELD IN A FORWARD LOCATION. WITHOUT HIGH BEAMS I CAN NOT DRIVE AT NIGHT, HOLDING THE HIGH BEAM ON VIA THE TURN INDICATOR CAUSES DANGEROUS DRIVING. IF DRIVING OR STATIONARY THE LOW BEAMS DO NOT WORK. WE PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE USED IN 2015, THE PROBLEM DID NOT HAPPEN UNTIL 2016, SO WE WERE NOT AWARE OF THE RECALL, AS THE RECALL WAS CONSIDERED CLOSED IN 2015.
POWER STEERIG BECOME NOISY AFTER BEING DRIVENA FEW MILES AT HIGHER SPEEDS
I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM OF INTERMITTENTLY STALLING THAT OTHERS REPORT AFTER FUELING. IT COMES AND GOES.
MINIVAN STALLS SOON AFTER REFUELING. THIS HAS HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES, ALWAYS WITHIN 1/2 MILE FROM REFUELING.
THE DASHBOARD STARTED COMING APART AT THE SEAMS. I ASKED DODGE AND THEY SAID IT WAS DUE TO THE HEAT & NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. NOW THE SEAM HAS RIPPED WIDE OPEN EXPOSING THE ENGINE. PLUS MY ARMS ON MY CHAIRS HAVE CRACKED. THE GAS TANK WAS LEAKING AND WE HAD TO REPLACE IT AT OUR EXPENSE AS WELL AS THE OUTSIDE MIRRORS BROKE AND WE HAD TO REPLACE IT. BUT I AM WORRIED IT WILL GET SO HOT THAT THE AIR BAGS WILL GO OFF. I HAVE NEVER SEEN THIS IN ANY CAR I HAVE EVER OWNED. PLEASE HELP.
VEHICLE HESITATES AND STALLS IMMEDIATELY AFTER A COMPLETE FILL-UP. THIS COULD CAUSE A DANGEROUS CONDITION IN HEAVY TRAFFIC. SIMILAR SYMPTOMS TO A 2005 CHRYSLER TOWN & COUNTRY I HAD WHICH WAS RECALLED FOR A DEFECTIVE FUEL TANK SENSOR.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 DODGE CARAVAN. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED, ENGINE OIL BEGIN TO LEAK. AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC DIAGNOSED THAT THE CRANK SHAFT SEAL NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 160,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
THE VEHICLE HAS AN UNUSUAL AMOUNT OF RUST ON THE DOOR PANELS AND BOTTOM CHASE. I'VE HAD TO REPLACE THE MUFFLER DUE TO RUST AND YOU CAN VISIBLY SEE NEAR THE DOOR PANELS A HOLE IS FORMING DUE TO DAMAGES FROM RUST/CORROSION. THE VEHICLE IS TYPICALLY KEPT INDOORS AND SHOULD NOT BE EXPERIENCING THESE KINDS OF DAMAGES.
